Giovanna BOTTA

Giovanna BOTTA collaborates with Yves BISMUTH and Olivier COSTA within the Departments of Company Law, European and International Law as well as within the Department of IP and IT law.

She holds a Master in private law and a post-graduate diploma in IP Law from the Law and Politics University in Nantes. She is a Lawyer at the Brazilian Bar and will join the Lyon Bar within a few months.

Giovanna’s fields of intervention are mostly international litigation especially in the UK and in Brazil, alongside with the foreign associate lawyers of the firm. She has worked as a paralegal in firms specialised in IP and IT law and notably in one of the most successful international firm specialised in the steel industry. She brought her expertise for contract drafting, negotiation of agreements, protection of the know-how and research contract with public and private companies as well as procedures to the CNIL. She has also been a paralegal within a firm of European Trademark Attorneys.

Giovanna BOTTA was in charge of IP, social and civil law in the legal department of a major Brazilian energy distributor.Giovanna speaks Portuguese as a native tongue and is fluent in French and English.
